Now when I start up Call of Duty 4, it loads up to the screen, asking if you want to play Multiplayer or Singleplayer. I chose Singleplayer, the page went away and an error popped up saying the "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare couldn't write a file. The hard drive is probably full." But I don't think the hard drive is a problem because I have 94 GBs left. Is there a fix for it?

Maybe the read/write permissions aren't set to allow MW to do anything.

How would I check to see if it is allowed to do anything and if it isn't then allow it to?

I switched the Activision file in my C: drive from Read-only to...not Read-only. But when I check it again, it says Read-only. But I don't know if that would be the problem.

I figured out how to get it to run.
I just right clicked on the shortcut icon on the desktop and clicked run as.
